Gaetano Pecoraro - PhD candidate, University of Salerno, Italy, stays at NGI and will present his PhD work Early warning systems for rainfall-induced landslides: a multi-scale monitoring approach. The main goal of the PhD project is the definition of a methodology to integrate the results of an extensive real-time monitoring at local scale within early warning models developed at regional scale.
