Moisture protection of highly insulated roof and wall structures

Our PhD candidate Lars Gullbrekken has published an article in Journal of Building Physics about how natural convection in air-permeable glass wool insulation affects the thermal transmittance in walls, roofs and floor structures. The study gives practical recommendation for use of convection barrier to reduce the risk of moisture problems and heat loss from a structure. A Norwegian extract of the study is presented by Byggeindustrien no. 14, 2016.
