Post.doc project Klima 2050
Dr. Vittoria Capobianco from University of Salerno, Italy has been post.doc at NGI in 2019, and is now permanent employee from 2020. During her post.doc period, Vittoria has worked partly on Klima 2050 topics, and partly on other projects, such as H2020-PHUSICOS, which is a Klima 2050 spin-off project. Vittoria did her PhD on the effect of vegetation for stabilizing slopes consisting of volcanic deposits. From this background in the use of Nature Based Solutions (NBS), Vittoria has been central in the latest development of the web-based tool for selecting mitigation measures, LaRiMiT (www.larimit.com). Furthermore, she has worked on journal and conference papers related to NBS, as well as submitting abstracts on KLIMA2050 topics for upcoming conferences, such as Interpraevent 2020, and EGU 2020.
