Awarded World Centre of Excellence

The award on Landslide Disaster Reduction 2017-2020 was given based on NGI's landslide activities within the innovation centre Klima 2050. The proposal describing these activities had been presented on 17 November 2016 in a Symposium in Paris organised by the International Programme of Landslides – IPL and UNESCO. The diploma in Ljubljana was received by Bjørn Kalsnes and Håkon Heyerdahl, both NGI researchers in Klima 2050. During the award ceremony, the centre Klima 2050 was duly mentioned. The proposal can be found here.
